IMMEDIATE Fashion School’s mission is to be an open and evolving artistic research project bringing everyday creatives together — face-to-face, to playfully challenge dominant narratives in fashion through study, discussion, art, creativity, making and sharing.

 

Originally initiated in Austin, TX in 2017, each instance of IMMEDIATE Fashion School is unique in terms of its specific focus, timeframe, location and participants, but consistent in terms of the types of activities we do together. Each exploration includes the following core elements:

 

-reading, discussion & embodied play 

-guest artists and speakers

-skill-sharing sessions

-collaborative art-making projects

-presentation of work to the public
