Machine Sewing 101

SEW HAPPY -- learn all the basics of using a sewing machine - winding a bobbin, threading the machine, basic stitch settings and their uses, needles, adjusting tension, sewing a seam, clean finishing, pivoting and more. I'll give you tons of tips and tricks and after practicing all the basics, you’ll make a small bag to take home along with your new confidence in using a sewing machine! Supplies needed: --Spool of all-purpose thread, any color --You can either bring your own sewing machine & tools (scissors, thread nippers, seam ripper, etc.) or borrow mine! --I'll supply everything else needed for class! Upcoming classes: Saturday, January 11th - 9:30am-1:00pm Saturday, February 8th - 9:30am-1:00pm Saturday, March 15th - 9:30am - 1:00pm
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made no later than 72 hours before the start time of your class in order to receive a refund. There are no make-up classes for any classes missed; if you miss a class, you can schedule a private lesson for an additional fee to get caught up. If a class is canceled due to low enrollment or other reasons, you will receive a full refund. Students must be 13 years of age or older in order to participate and minors must have a parent sign a consent form before class. All classes are held at the Eugene Ballet Costume Shop located at 154 e. 16th Ave. Eugene, OR 97401. You may arrive up to 15 minutes before your class starts.
